Winter Solstice Ritual

A Body/Rite/Musical experience that celebrates the rebirth of light, on the exact day of the Winter Solstice. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. From that moment on, the days begin to get longer again. It is like a symbol of the rebirth of light, hope, and a new beginning.

A time to leave the old behind and prepare for the new. Celebrating the solstice is a way to reconnect with the natural rhythms of the planet. Moira Devi invites you to ritualize and dance to the sound of the music of Rafael Gandolfo, an experienced musician who brings “Soundscapes” using various musical instruments, including the cello, fiddle, harmonic flutes, singing, and percussion instruments.

The event takes place at sunset, exactly on the day of the solstice, in a glass-enclosed room with a view of the abundant nature of the south of Ilhabela. It will undoubtedly be a unique and unforgettable experience that connects with nature and celebrates life!
