You can get get to the Templo Do Ser by bicycle. Leaving the ferry, head towards the south of Ilhabela, go through Portinho beach, go through the entrance to the Três Tombos waterfall and take the next left on Av. Engenho Velho. For those who come from far away, the closest commercial airports are Cumbica International Airport in Guarulhos, and Viracopos International Airport in Campinas. From these cities it is possible to reach Ilhabela using intercity buses to São Sebastião and then cross the canal by ferry or catamaran.
